Public Restrooms (Level One) Interior Elevations - By adhering to the appropriate regulations of standard ADA requirements, this view of the public restrooms on the ground level serves to illustrate the accessibility of all spaces within the pavilion to those with special needs and/or disabilities. By considering low threshold entrance systems, 6-foot wide entrances, ADA compliant stalls with grab bars and comfort-height toilets, and automatic bathroom fixtures, these elements provide the following: equability, flexibility, and simplicity in use; minimization of the hazards and adverse consequences of accidental or unintended accidents, and the reduction of high physical effort on behalf of the users. These factors of universal design work in in conjunction with one another to widen the scope of potential students and guests Novus Pavilion can accommodate.
