Jellystone Park
Summary
According to Leonardo da Vinci "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." and according to the world-renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright " Simplicity and repose are the qualities that measure the true value of any work of art." which are things I kept to heart while working on my pocket park. While looking around my classmates projects, I felt some of them were trying to do too much (not to bash them in anyway, they are all excellent students) but for the most part, a park should a purpose. The purpose of my park would be to bring the community together, to welcome them to a miniature get away, a safe place for kids to have fun, Now this may seem like a lot to ask for a pocket park, but I was able to come with simple yet efficient solutions to meet the basic needs out of all of them.

Adaptive Reuse
Architects often find creative ways to reuse old structures that are no longer in use. Check out how old rail lines were adapted to create New York's High Line and Chicago's 606.
