Summary

Our main inspiration for the exterior design was Lucas Oil Stadium. We did not like how other indoor stadiums looked like dull domes. Instead of making it a dome, we made it look more like a regular building than a dome. We also took into account how Lucas Oil Stadium had a numerous amount of windows and a retractable rooftop, letting in natural light. Besides the exterior design, another one of our main focuses was to have a place to hang out and attract people to our football games. We included a fountain and a snack bar, so while people are hanging out and eating, they have a great view. We also included a public open space on top of the lobby, where people could look out into Mira Loma and enjoy their food from the snack bar. To make everything flow smoothly and safely, we made our doors wide enough for a good amount of people to go through, and had rails, wheelchair ramps, and stairs that were all ADA approved.
