This is our finished model from a back angle. On the top, we have a retractable roof top. When it is closed, as it is in the photo, there are windows letting in natural light, but when it is open, it will let in cool air and natural light.

The weather in Sacramento is very severe during the summer. Will the windows let in the hot temperature as well as light? And what if the weather gets so hot that opening the windows won't help?

We are using glass with three low-emissivity coatings which provides a protective layer that reflects heat well, thereby avoiding the heat build up.
