McDonnell Library redesign

05/08/13
During the process of brainstorming ideas for the library design, I branched off to thoughts about what libraries are going to be like in the future. The first thing that came into mind was how it is going to be a necessity for testing to computer to be in school libraries. Currently our school only has a limited amount of computers, in the near futures schools will be testing online virtually for everything. In this library our school needs more computer space as well as computers, these problems will be incorporated into the final solution. In this redesign I plan on using some of the surrounding classrooms as space for a new modern computer lab.

Do you think computers will still be relevant in the future? ...or will everyone be using tablets? Will there be a need for computer labs? (I don't know what the answer is either!)
