This is an example of an indoor turf facility. I plan to take precedence from this facility and utilize it into my new athletic pavilion. An indoor turf facility would allow the varsity levels of outdoor sports to split the time on the turf field in cases of inclement weather and allow for teams to have effective practices in spite of the weather. The field is obviously not full-size, which it wouldn't need to be for a simple practice. The smaller field would take up minimal space and resources and would prove extremely useful for many athletic teams. The only improvisations that would be needed from the pictured field would be protection for the lights and on the walls for the athletes, and possibly nets so that baseball and softball teams would not have to avoid practicing batting while indoors. This facility could also be used to host youth sports, creating additional revenue for the school.
