The lot that I chose for this project would be upon 59th st and w Lawndale. The lot is in the corner of the street around some businesses, and close to the salvation army. I feel like this area needed a little bit of a lift and more places such as a pocket park in order to make the neighborhood a more appeasing place to live and have a better sense of community.
