This is a material study of Gary Comer College Prep's exterior cladding. The building was designed by John Ronan architects in Chicago. The exterior cladding shows a bright yellow-green color. It lightens the mood and brightens the surroundings. The building definitely self-describes itself as a fun learning environment. I plan to use a similar exterior cladding to contrast the bland industrialist ideals of Lane Tech's brick facade.
