This is an example of the landscaping we are planning to incorporate. The walkways are surrounded by plants, and we are thinking of placing benches along the walkways.
Native plants are great, but still do require irrigation. Is there something like the piano that is lying around your school that you could use as the inspiration for this fountain? If not, would you like to incorporate the Matador theme talked about in the earlier thumbnail for the sculpture. Perhaps these two art features could be linked thematically

That would be great if we could manage to do this. It not only would improve the library but by adding the Matador theme it would link with other parts of the school that have already incorporated the Matador theme(like the mural in the school cafeteria and this brick wall we call the Mata Wall).

This is a different picture than before! What if you use brick for this stepped portion of the exterior water feature like the Mata wall you mention in your comment.

Do you plan on using a water feature in your design? Water helps with tranquility that would be nice in a library.
