Are there places to sit? That's the one thing the existing design has, and it seems like people use that sometimes. How are you encouraging people to stay and enjoy the park instead of just passing through?

Landscaping is definitely important. Did you look into what kinds of plants you could plant that will grow given the climate and light available in the courtyard?

This is certainly beautiful and peaceful, although I think it's more than just the fountain that is making it seem that way. Look at those amazing trees! Where is this? And where did you get the image? You need to make sure you're identifying sources for images you post - it's important to give credit where it's due.

You haven't told us where the stairs go to - are you sure it's possible to remove them? Could you put the fountain somewhere else and keep the stairs if necessary?

What are the features of this example that make it a park for teachers? And what would older students do here - people who are too old for the playground?

Ah, this answers my last question - it's just not an attractive space!

Why is the courtyard not being used? Is it because it's ugly - or are there security concerns since it is part of a school?

I like the fountain as the focal point of this design and the tree usage, but overall it lacks shading and details. There's plenty of empty space to incorporate other things such as shade structures or things for children's usage. Over all its a good simple design.

As you can see the park is really dark at night, almost pitch black, i suggest putting in some lamps around the park so that it is lit up during night time.

Trees are a good idea to consider because, as you can see in these pictures, there is barely any shade in the green areas of the park during the middle of the day.
