Summary

In the developing solutions step, I developed upon those two sparks that I detailed in the last section and combined those two ideas with the spatial organization diagrams I was developing simultaneously. A lot of my developing solutions process involved drafting plans. As I detail in the first tile, I create a template with the main court and regulating lines, and then used pen to sketch many drafts of possible layouts. I then proceeded to work on more detailed sketches of my ideas, such as materializing the eye motif, the main court mesh encasement, the interior and exterior of my design. When I started modeling using Google Sketchup, I had a pretty good idea of the overall appearance. In order to sort out the specific angles and layout, I again resorted to regulating lines to determine my forms.
