The above image shows two draft floor plans, one for the top floor and one for the bottom floor. When I was coming up with the floor plan for my design I did a lot of practice drafting. I had already created a template of the site with all the regulating lines and the main court in its predetermined position. Then I played with different layouts, using the regulating lines as guides. These are just two of those drafts. You can see some of the ideas that show up in the final design in these plans. For instance, the layout of the top floor is fairly similar to that in the final design, and the bottom floor plan has some similar elements, with the fundraiser storage on the left and the squash courts and alternate fitness rooms on the right and the locker rooms in the middle.
