High School Library Redesign

04/25/13
Sketch of the new computer layout. This setup would allow librarians to monitor student activity on all computers, instead of just half. Placing computers along the curtain wall maximizes space, and also allows for visual interaction between people in the Commons and people in the media center. Tables for group work are also visible from the Commons and thus help draw people into the library. This layout was used in my former high school, and was very successful in moving people out of the crowded hallways and into the media center.
