Surrounding Landscaping Features - While the current landscaping around A-TECH's gym is fairly consistent with the emerging trends commonly found in native desert landscaping, the basic plants and trees lack color and creativity. The vegetation surrounding the new pavilion will keep these eco-friendly techniques without sacrificing either beauty or color. All landscaping features will be strategically placed throughout the site based on sunlight needs, shading requirements, and other significant factors that affect the plant's life span. Golden Chain Trees, Japanese Cherry Blossoms, Mexican Feather Grass, Mexican Sage Bush, Chocolate Flower Plants, and Fairy Duster plants will transform the original barren site from a dry, rocky environment into a colorful desert garden, ultimately promoting an overall increase in school pride.
