Complete A-TECH Floor Plan - The purpose of this photo is to illustrate how the entire A-TECH campus is currently laid out. The actually school (including the east wing, cafeteria, lecture hall, classrooms, and administration spaces) utilizes numerous elaborate series of rather straight utilitarian design features and the conceptual idea behind the layout is very abstract-based compared to the curved features of the gym (highlighted in blue above). As mentioned in the project "Overview" section, the current A-TECH athletic center was more an afterthought by the architects once the school had already been built (hence the numerous flaws and discontinuity in the design). The new pavilion will resolve these conflicts and incorporate the same concepts of geometric-based architecture in the floor plan and exterior facades to ensure a more effective cohesion of the gym to the existing design of the school's overall campus.
