Site Plan Conceptual Sketch & Polycrystalline Solar Panel Detail- This image shows how the site of the new pavilion will look and serves to highlight the different roof elements and landscaping features that will increase the structure's durability. The proposed cobblestone paths with natural stone color accents and the colorful plants surrounding the pavilion will increase student interaction and promote school pride by providing an aesthetically pleasing space that students and faculty can proudly call their own. This image also highlights the solar panel detail for the panels that will cover the western half of the pavilion's roof. By reinforcing green architecture, the vegetative roof (see "Low-E Glass & Vegetative Roof Details" under the "Brainstorm Ideas" tab) and solar panels will significantly decrease the cost of using the pavilion for classes and extracurricular/athletic events. It is great that you addressed the importance of having a "sense of ownership" when designing this new facility. Once this mentality is developed, it will be beneficial for the students/faculties, the school and the community.
