This is a materials study I created to complement my research for materials. For the "bark wall" I plan to use pre-weathered steel similar to that used on the Barclays Center. It is easier to maintain and has a rich color that will complement my concept. For the "overlapping leaves" I plan to use timber-shuttered concrete. It has a very industrial look that fits the area but still has a wood-like texture. Finally, I plan to use AMIRAN Anti-Reflective Glass. It has a resilient coating that controls glare and reflectivity. Furthermore, it looks nearly invisible.
