The video above is a sun-study of the site. As Sidwell is in the northern hemisphere, the sun rises in the east and sets in the west as it normally does, but travels a southern path. This means that any southern faces of buildings will get a lot more direct sunlight than northern faces. I kept this fact in mind when choosing the organization and design of my building.
