Dover-Root Park: 2015 Pocket Park Design Centered on Community Values and a Greener Future
This second article helped me to get a feel for exactly how important pocket parks are to a community. It provided a more logistic set of facts that went further in depth as to how parks are created and designed in order to best suit each unique community. In my brainstorming process, I was able to mimic some of the analysis of the city’s needs (that were proposed in the various case studies along the sides) and, in turn, create a more personalized foundation for my design.
