I took a visit to the lot and snapped a few photographs. I was able to physically walk over the land and make note of the various undulations. In this step I had a rough idea of what I would like the park to contain and had the opportunity to visualize where the features that I had in mind would best fit in accordance with the landscape. Capitalizing on the natural form of the land and preserving it is a vital part of creating a greener environment and a space that flows better overall.
