This area was primarily designed for the enjoyment of the parents and children in mind. Since we live in a dry and hot climate, having plants or a structure to provide shade was essential. The playground provides a fun place for the children to explore while the parents supervise them from the seating area The structure provides the necessary shade for the parents, while the tree casts a shadow over the playground and remaining area, thus reducing the temperature and improving the parents' and children's' experience..

The function of the children's play area was well-thought out. It would definitely meet the needs of parents and children alike. It would be beneficial to provide a shade structure for the playground structure. The tree may only provide shade at a certain time in the day.
