As you can see from the site plan, a lot has changed since I started. Ideas can be seen from both initial drafts such as the gazebo from the first one or the general shape of the park from the second. Thanks to the unexpected size of the plot, I was able to improvise a lot along the way.

Adaptive Reuse

Architects often find creative ways to reuse old structures that are no longer in use. Check out how old rail lines were adapted to create New York's High Line and Chicago's 606.

Comments

While the individual pieces of the park are interesting and great on their own, I feel that the composure of the site itself appears to be a little empty. Perhaps by adding a little more shade the site would be a good way of adding a little more 'pizzazz' to the site.
