Pocket Park
|While it may be difficult to find suitable places to build a huge park in a city, a small, pocket park should have no trouble fitting in. It’s essential for neighborhoods to have some sort of gathering space for children to play and people to gather, but in a city that needs buildings to grow, large parks can’t always be built. Small pocket parks provide this needed space in a small area, allowing for them to be placed in many different locations. By placing a pocket park in a lot that would otherwise have been difficult to use, we can increase the value of the neighborhood and give those in the community a place to socialize.

Great design and wonderful renderings!!
I loved the comments about real world experiences and how that affected some of your design and thought processes. It would have been interesting to see a third option that was drastically different from the other two to push the concept of what the pocket park could be for that space.
Well done!!
Great renderings!
I really enjoyed your develop solutions and brainstorming sections. It was nice to see all of your sketches and your methods in one place. Your goals for the project were really clear and the variety of your inspiration images was great!
