Pocket Park
05/20/15
Parks exist as gathering places for those who live in the neighborhood. They're useful as large spaces where many people can gather for a party or event. That's why I wanted to include some sort of area so that people could set something up. Though it's a bit small, the gazebo on the southeast side of the park creates a place where people can do anything from take a quick lunch break to hosting a party. The gazebo ensures that the table under it stays shaded at all times and helps to separate it from the rest of the park, giving it a distinct, indoors feeling.

What should I upload in the Final Design step?
- final hand or digital renderings
- images of your finished physical model
- or your finished digital model
You can even include links to a YouTube or Vimeo of a digital walk-through like this one: https://youtu.be/ncaVQ2V6XXU
Adaptive Reuse
Architects often find creative ways to reuse old structures that are no longer in use. Check out how old rail lines were adapted to create New York's High Line and Chicago's 606.
Comments
Not exactly the best. Although in concept it is quite good, in reality, it is terribly horrible and reminds me of my people being destroyed.
