You've done a nice job focusing on the usable space of the building. The renderings are well developed. I didn't get a sense for how you're observations translated into a design solution however. I think if you went back and codified your thinking, the points you highlighted in the set-up would better inform the final design. A good effort overall, but opportunity to tighten.

I agree with the above. I'm missing the evaluation of the actual athletic facilities and how the amenities you've highlighted related to them. I'm also hoping to see how your choice of color and windows gets applied in the final design.

Very nice looking! I noticed there's a lot of covered outdoor space. Could you potentially integrate the tennis/volleyball/basketball courts into this design?

Nicely done. Might be better to integrate the restrooms and locker rooms into one area. Minimizes the amount of unnecessary traffic through the weight room, which could be distracting for the people using it and dangerous for those who simply need to use the restroom.

I agree that light is one of the most important elements of any design. Would be great to understand how you plan to utilize the windows in your design to take advantage of the abundance of light - and in the case of Las Vegas, also shade.

What other building materials do you plan to use and why?

I think the color palette is beautiful. Seems a bit early in the process to bring this in, however. I was a bit confused by the mention of the cafe'. Is that a feature you intend to include in your gymnasium design?

Notice how this building mimics the elements of the Air Force logo, with angled roofs that emulate the wings of the eagle and a cantilevered/angled facade that emulates it's head/neck. An interesting way to make the design relevant.

Very nice assessment of the current design. I like the idea of a two story structure. As an alternative, it seems as though there is plenty of space on the current site to expand the floor plan if you wanted to keep the structure one story.
