LRedesign your school library with new spaces for community groups
The Zen garden will actually be split into two separate gardens. One garden will be used for simply viewing while the other garden will be used by the community to learn how to arrange the rocks and sand as well as appreciate the simplicity of the Zen garden.

Very creative, we like this idea a lot and we think it will fit well with your building.

We would suggest you making a garden that will also be a use for the community.

What material will you be using for the second floor?

Love the idea of using the recycled denim. It would look very nice and would save the material :)

You have so much specfic information on construction, but your plan to change the library is less clear to me. Don't lose the big picture in the details of the blueprint.

The blinds are shut each night as part of security (the inability to see inside-computers, flat screens, Computers on Wheels (COWs). I think they are very unattractive, but they are approved by the fire department. The screens keep the temperature down to save electricity. I would like to see the windows washed on a regular basis! The blinds are opened each day except when, in the beginning of the year, we are so busy we don't even look up, but chech out 1000s of books over the course of 1 1/2 weeks.
