Thank you! This is something that our Director of Building Design is seriously taking a look at for the redesign of our library.

These blinds featured in this picture are occasionally opened for the students however there is grey mesh screen over the windows therefore not a sufficient amount of light gets let in. The windows face the southern part of the school. If you were to be entering the library from the main entrance the windows would be on your left.

We have actually decided to add on to the library by creating a second floor which will allow us to have more room to incorporate a storage room. When speaking with the librarian Ms. Gibson I actually learned something pretty interesting about the process that our old school books go through when we receive new books. Last year there was a student who attended Mira Loma high school, Casey Robins, who created a program which allowed us to donate our used school books to Liberia. Because of her generous program we have never really had a big issue with storing new/old books simply because their always in rotation. Thank you for your time!

I apologize for any miscommunication. We are not relocating the library. We are simply adding on to the existing building. The two floors you see in this picture are actually not floors at all. They are extremely rough sketch up drawings of study rooms. We are doing our best to get newer and more accurate pictures of our design up. Sorry for the inconvenience! Thank you for your question!

Our group has been discussing how we plan on maintaining the plants for our garden. We even discussed having artificial plants. We'll be sure to do more research and come up with the best possible solution. Thank you!

We decided to incorporate a Zen garden into our library beacause when discussing the whole idea of a communtiy garden in our library we realized that it really didn't fit the overall theme of the library.

We really like the peacefulness of your garden. We suggest that you incorporate some seating for the students. How will you incorporate the library design with this garden?
