Westlake City Community Park
Summary
I collected information in a variety of ways. My first big step was to decide on a location. Following that, I started to look at other pocket parks and just parks in general to learn how I could incorporate some new ideas into my pocket park. Finally, I looked at my local area that I was putting my pocket park in to gather information necessary for the people who would be using my park. I did research on a variety of resources, from online websites, Weather.com, a newspaper article, Google Earth, and a community brief. All of these things really built me up towards the next step, brainstorming and continued me along the design process at a quick rate.

Did you know that you can Request a new bike rack in your area? Cities all over the U.S. have multiple types of bike racks they can install and all you have to do is submit a request.
