This image shows my idea of an innovative bookcase. As I conducted my research on different ways to reduce the space taken up by bookcases, I realized that circular bookshelves tend to consume less of the library's space while provide about the same space, or even more, for books. I also concluded that by organizing books in an elaborate manner in drawers, many more books could be allotted to the library. And so I came up with a two-level circular bookcase, stair accessible, that will not only take up less space in the library, but will allow there to be a larger number of books. Also, the space underneath the second level could act like a cozy, reading place, although the details illustrated in the sketch are rough in nature.
