In this image I showcase the custom-built interior staircase and the "open-mic" center. The purpose of the specially-designed staircase is to provide seating for an spontaneous visitor who feels "adventurous" and just wishes to sit there and, obviously, for access to the second floor. One can also see the center of the "open-mic" center. It is marked by a huge, chrome-finished structure which is to act as a beacon for students in the library and the school. By designing the area in such a way, I wish to encourage students to participate more openly by providing musical performances, practicing speeches, or maybe acting as a center on which to announce and carry out important events.
