Yet another study option is shown in this image. In my redesign, I wanted to utilize preexisting columns effectively within the space, because in the current design they mainly create obstacles to movement. I utilized these columns to create separate "study pods" for three students at a time. These study pods are located towards the front of the library, and would be great for students only staying for a shorter period of time. The study pods are compact enough to work effectively in the space, yet large enough to afford each student adequate room to work.
