One thought I had when I started this project, is that it would be good if the park could be used during the evenings when the sun has gone down. Most of the small parks that i have seen around Las Vegas do not have any form of lighting, so the park basically shuts down at sunset. However, i have noticed, especially during the winter when the sun sets around four-thirty, that people still want to use the park later n the day. In order to resolve this kind of issue, I planned on putting in small lights on the edges of the jogging paths so that this park may be used after daylight hours. These lights could possibly be individually solar powered or they could be wired into the solar panels that are on top of one of the picnic awnings. The two picnic awnings and the playground would also have their own lights as well.
