Even with minimal grass, Blanket Flower Park established itself as a colorful oasis in the desert. The color scheme reflected desert tones with the Travertine pathway and stepping stones, plant choices (brush, oak trees, hibiscus, desert sage, desert willow trees, fire lilies, and of course the Blanket Flower), and flower beds. Vibrant colors - an element that livens any park - can be seen in the various courtyards, flower beds, and especially in the gardens featuring apple and orange trees.
