Architect Seven: A Re-design of Mira Loma High School’s Cafeteria

10/01/12
Here is our new office. The office desk can be used by four people at the same time. It is loaded with computers and other materials needed for work. The desk is very big and each person will be able to have their own space for their work. I chose to add some "fire" to this room by painting the back wall red. The red keeps the energy flow in the room and increases productivity. I also added two large and comfortable sofas that can be used by the kitchen staff as a social place during breaks and can also be used as a waiting area for the office visitors. I also added a big cabinet that has file organizers and shelves for the staff's paperwork. -Ikram Magzoub; Director of Interior Decor.

I'd like to see the rest of this room new update! It's looking great!

A cafeteria staff office is super cool, as a fellow redesigner of the cafeteria I would have never thought of the need for that. What types of eco-friendly materials do you plan to use for this space specifically?

Thank you! I am planning on using recyclable materials for this room. I am using flooring and desks that are made out of bamboo to make sure it is eco-friendly. I am also using eco-friendly paint that is completely organic.

Nice development of this room! Great opportunity to make an awesome perspective of what the space is about!

Thank you! I tried my best to make the office feel professional yet still modern at the same time.
